Fraggle Rock
Fraggle Rock was an awesome Jim Hensen-produced children’s puppet series that ran for five seasons on the HBO network from January 10, 1983 to March 30, 1987. The cast of characters, known as Fraggles were colorful puppets in the same style as Jim Hensen’s popular series, the Muppets. The series also became very popular internationally in Canada, New Zealand and the UK. Fraggle Rock was a whimsical world full of high-energy music and sing along songs. The show focused on how different groups of Fraggles interacted with one another on a social level, often taking on complex human relationship issues framed in an educational and entertaining way.
If you were a cool child of the 80s, there’s no way you could have missed Fraggle Rock.
