Tonya Harding was an Olympic figure skater born in Portland, Oregon. She first was famous for being the first to land the triple lutz in competition, but later became famous for putting a hit on Nancy Kerrigan’s kneecaps. Her mother was a very crafty lady, making most of her skating costumes.
