The Dream Team
The 1992 USA Basketball team, better known as “The Dream Team” was a super-mega team constructed for the Barcelona Olympics Games to destroy the world. The team was made up of some of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA and one college kid named Christian Laettner, who was chosen over Shaquille O’Neal.
The Dream Team went undefeated in their quest to obtain Olympic gold never losing a match by less than a 38-point margin. That game was against Puerto Rico with a final score of 119 to 81. The biggest USA victory was in their first game against Cuba where the United States won 136 to 57 — a staggering 79 point difference.
