Do you remember...
Math Blaster

Remember floppy disks??? Awesome! 1987 brought us the original Math Blaster, which was written on floppy disks and used on Apple computers in grade schools around the nation. The game grew to such popularity that the company who created the game, eventually expanded into other realms of education, including reading and science. Updated versions of the game followed in 1989, 1999, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2006, and 2008. The game helped children learn skill such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and all under the pretense that you’re trying to save humankind from the invasion of aliens. For the 1980′s, Math Blaster was the modern day example of how to get kids interested in learning…make it a game!
